The Platt Saga

This is a new overambitious venture of mine. It's the story of Duncan Platt, salesman for Helvetica Precision Components plc., who vows to gain a victory for the meek. I've only done nine parts of it so far. I'll put the rest up as I do it.

Um, I've run out of momentum for now. Do let me know if you're particularly bothered about seeing the rest, and perhaps I'll do something about it.

Duncan was about to lose his job anyway (in case you hadn't cottoned on to that.) Duncan has almost evolved into a permanent form. It takes me a while to get a distinctive character.

I wonder if this would really work? NB: Stanley Roundway is lifted directly from Johnny and the Dead by Terry Pratchett. It's a very good book, as are all other books by Pratchett, WITHOUT FAIL.

This would look better if I could film it. Now there's an idea. A film of the Duncan Platt story. Anyone interested in funding this project should contact me at the usual address.

Duncan has fooled the government. Do you see? That means that he was lying to them. He stole the money and handed it in. This might be as clear as day, for all I know, but I can't tell in advance whether it's obvious or not. By the way, the 'Corbett' in the headline may or may not be Ronnie Corbett. And as for the front page, blame Chris Morris.

The title of this one is pretty pathetic, isn't it? Oh, well. Also, I have absolutely no idea how you'd pronounce 'Chisholme.' Probably 'KRIS-mass.'
